CENTRAL KYC RECORDS REGISTRY
KIS IT Services (via its financial technology platforms like Krishna LMS / Krishna Software) provides CKYCRR 2.0 integration capabilities designed for banks, NBFCs, and regulated financial entities.
Since the operationalization of CKYCRR, clients need to submit their KYC details only once with any of the reporting entities of RBI, SEBI, IRDAI and PFRDA at the time of account opening.
The CKYC Search function allows the reporting entities to check if a KYC record is already registered on CKYCRR
If the KYC record is already registered in CKYCRR, then the reporting entity can retrieve the KYC records online from the CKYCRR by using the CKYC Download function.
In case of changes or differences in the details of a client available in the KYC record, then the reporting entity shall initiate a CKYC Update request in CKYCRR
Creating a new CKYCRR record (to obtain a 14-digit KIN - KYC Identifier Number) under the CKYCRR 2.0 system requires reporting entities to run an automated, real-time API workflow.
